Analytical Geochemistry to Investigate Lithosphere Evolution (AGILE)

Welcome to UBC AGILE

UBC AGILE is a research team dedicated to investigating
the dynamics and evolution of the lithosphere through the
chronology, petrology and geochemistry of metamorphosed rocks.

Research

We investigate the formation, evolution and dynamics of the lithosphere through field work, and petrological, geochemical, isotope, and chronometric analysis.

The Team

We are international team of researchers committed to studying the dynamic lithosphere, and employing and developing innovative analytical techniques in geoscience.

Sponsors

AGILE is fully integrated within the Pacific Centre for Isotopic and Geochemical Analysis (PCIGR), part of UBC-EOAS, and is supported by NSERC, CFI and BC-KDF.
